/nickname

Set a nickname for yourself (alias: /nick). Trusted players can set nicknames for others.

Syntax​

/nickname <nickname> /nickname <off|reset|none> /nickname <player> <nickname>

Examples​

  • /nickname NapKing
  • /nickname off
  • /nickname reset
  • /nickname Alex Builder
  • /nickname <gradient:#ff6a00:#ffd500>Glow</gradient>

Formatting tips​

  • Nicknames support legacy color codes (&a, &l, &#FFAA00) and MiniMessage tags.
  • Color/gradient formatting requires the nickname-color permission.

Limits and rules​

  • Max length is 15 visible characters.
  • Nicknames cannot match another known player's real username.
  • Staff terms and blocked content are disallowed.
